Dr. Stern is a foot specialist who has been in practice since 1980. He did a surgical residency in Detroit. He is a member of the American Podiatric Medical Association and the Michigan Podiatric Medical Association.   He was a podiatric medical consultant for Blue Cross - Blue Shield of Michigan from 2002-2005.  Over his 42 years practicing in the Detroit, Michigan area,  he has treated over 45,000 patients.  He has helped educate and train many new practitioners.  He was one of the few preceptors approved by the state to help new podiatrists gain licensure.   Although Dr. Stern treats all foot and ankle conditions, he has spent the last 30 years studying heel pain syndromes.  He writes and lectures on this subject.  He designed a hybrid orthotic for combination heel pain syndromes.

He knows foot conditions and exactly what will help.  He has saved many patients from having surgery on their foot, ankle, knee and back.

Mission

Statement

During my 44 years of practice, I have observed a continuous increase in the price of orthotics. In 1980, the average cost of a pair of orthotics was $90 to $125. Since then, the price has risen significantly due to material costs, shipping costs, and, in some cases, employee costs, as many orthotic labs have unionized. I have consulted with patients all over the United States and reviewed pictures of their feet and orthotics.  During one consult, the person sent me a picture of his orthotics. These were from the same laboratory I used. These cost the patient $1500 in California.

My mission is to provide you with a custom orthotic at a reasonable price.

This will include a biomechanical exam through video upload, face time or zoom call, as well as a review of pictures or your feet with markers indicating where the painful area are , circling of any calluses or lesions and a review of your questionaire.

After we review everything  we will through email, phone call or face time give you a personal consult on just what we recommend.  We will then make you a pair of custom  orthotics that address your specific needs for the shoes you want to wear.

    All this for only  $225.00
